Skating Phil's mini - damn fun ramp!

I'm sorry to say that I missed skating Phil's heated garage mini ramp the other night. It appears as though I've been a bit busy lately with family and old houses. However, it would appear as though everyone else hasn't been missing any skate time. Tony sent me some photos today of Walter and Phil ripping it up.

First Micro Session

The micro ramps got their first workout on a cold, two-day weekend session. In attendance were Skidzilla, Junior, Nikoli, and NoShow. I have a new rule at the house: You skate it, you tag it. The spray paint can is ready, are you?

Cuz The World Needs More Concretins

Alice had the bay-bay! It was a C-Section and took place on Monday, 1/14/07, at 12:30(ish). Everyone is doing great! Possibly with the exception of Nick who is now in Full Freak-out Mode!

The Stats:
Name: Indiana Louis
Weight: 7 lbs 15oz
Length: 19 1/2 Inches Long (Damn! He should come with a warning!)
Etc.: Blonde Hair + Blue Eyes (like all noobs, but these might actually
stick considering both parents sport the same).

Due to the C-Section, Alice will be in the hospital for 3 days (Norton Suburban)

The above pic is DEAD ON! C-Section surgery was a lil' skeery, only because it's surgery and was unexpected. Everything went perfectly. All is well with Mamma and Pappa ('cept the skidmarked shorts of course). First two days have been fantastic. It's all about the sleepin' and boobin'. My bro said "God puts the stink in next week." Great. Thanks everyone. Hope to see you all soon.

Micro Build... Success!

Mofo, Skidzilla, Junior, Nikoli, and Tony all made it out Saturday for the micro build. I served up some Krispy Kreme doughnuts in the morning and Papa John's pizza for lunch. My father had expressed his opinion that we wouldn't get finished in a day. Mofo showed up shortly after 10AM and said, "We'll be skating this by 2." Dead on!

It's Micro Time!!!

Saturday. That's the day. My basement. That's the place. I will have materials already purchased and ready to go in the basement. Thanks Mofo for the materials list. I will also have food and refreshments (adult- and kid-oriented) for all who show up. Thank you in advance to anyone who does. I will most likely have a skill saw and mitre saw and definitely have a household drill. Any additional tools, especially industrial-strength drills, will be welcome (hey, if you want to bring your mama's drill I won't turn it away either).

Frozen Pee

Yep. That's how damn cold it is; Frozen Pee. I let the mutt out to take a leak this morning and less than 1 hour later when shepherding the kids to the car, I had to warn, "Don't slip on the frozen pee!" Damn, it's cold. Too cold to skate and that sucks, cuz it was clear and sunny pretty much all day. On the up side: when my daughter stepped on the near-by dog turd, it shattered. Whoohoo! No clean up required!

On a more skate related subject: Tony learned 'rock to fakie' on Phil's ramp. He proved it by showing it to me and Travio on New year's Eve (way back when it was warm three days ago).



Now, it is okay to say, "Tony Rocks!"
