Epic Weekend Photographic Evidence
So it all started about 21 years ago... my bike got a flat, and a friend gave me this lil' blue plastic board... Oh, sorry. We don't need to go back THAT far... Let's just go back to Sunday, and that's only because we don't have photos of Friday and Saturday sessions - but we gots lots o' video! And yea, I'll get to it eventually. Until then(months from now probably), maybe these will give you your Cretin fix.
Odds are, we had more fun than you did. Nyah Nyah!
-Gimpy was cruisin'.
-John was flowin'.
-Nikoli stalefishin' in the pipe.
-Skidzilla is a frontside ham.
-Cullo Pollo with a fakie disaster.
-AC/DC wrote: It's a long way to the top, if you wanna rock-n-roll. And it's a long way down too.
-NoShow aired the cone!
-More frontside hammin'.
-Mofo doin' his Skidzilla impression, 'cept for the fs rock part.
-Tiger claw nose stall by NoShow.
-Skidz tormented the RollerGirls with his wood.
There are more pics here:

pup and ramp
Yesterday Patricia and I got a puppy. She is an English Bulldog/Boxer mix. We are leaning towards the name Basil (thanks DeAnna).
Kylie came over today to cut some templates for the mini ramp. We started from scratch at 11 am and it was skateable by 6 ish, a bit more than just the templates. Kylie is the most efficient mini ramp builder in the universe - thanks again. Thanks to Steve-o for helping me get the materials to the house. I've got a little more work and it will be done. Stoked!
Good luck to those dealing with wind damage. Sr. Martinez had a tree land on his wife's car. The car was brand new, 6 days old. Nikoli had a neighbors patio umbrella fly through his house window. A utility poll fell on MoFro's work truck and an electric meter uprooted from beside his house.

Mark of a Great Artist
I have a very good reason for missing skate sessions. I mean, c'mon, the name NoShow implies just that. And I haven't bounced back as fast as I had hoped either after spending a week in the hospital with internal bleeding back in June. But there has been yet another reason why I've been missing out. Deadlines!
The Mark of a Great Artist show opened this past weekend and yours truly has two pieces showcased, "Bottle to Barrel" and "Red Wax Dip"...
I know that this is a skating blog but I figured I'd mention it since finishing these two pieces have played such a factor in keeping me from the park. Besides, the announcement for my inclusion in the program was made at the video premier party (even though Nikoli has no recollection, punk!).
These pieces and the rest of the collection will be on display at the Maker's Mark distillery for the next month. After that the collection will be split up and go to galleries in Louisville, Lexington, New York, San Francisco, Chicago, London, and Madrid. After a year of being on tour the pieces will be "retired" to Maker's Mark lounges in those respective cities.
Now that's out of the way I can get back to writhing in pain on the 'crete (while Wardical grabs his nads and chuckles at my misfortune).
