Showdown at The FrogBowl
Old Man Army's Frogwing was nice enough to host a Concretin to his very own ramp somewhere in Tornado Alley South of Iowa City, IA. Truly an awesome jester consideringI'd never met the cat before.
I landed at the Eastern Iowa Airport about 10am Sunday morning, and hit the concrete park in Iowa City to meet up with Jeff (aka Frogwing). He grabbed his buddies Jeff and Jeff (true!) and a couple of hard skatin' youths and we headed from crete to construction site to try our hand at vert. The top of the barn that houses the beast, I mean ramp, was unfinished. A storm was headin into the area and the wind was blowin at about 1,000 miles an hours. Standing on the deck was as harrowing as dropping in.
Check out the scene in the slides below. A good time was had by all. Frogwing has vowed to make one, maybe two, trips to The Ville this year. We gotta show him a solid bit o' Concretin Hospitality. He certainly earned it in my book.

I watched that slideshow for 3 hours as I was hypnotized and could not look away. So did you practice any 540s Skidzilla?
