38 ! ! ! ! !

    So this trucker walks into a diner. While he's waiting to order somebody screams "38"and the place falls about laffin.

    The trucker asks the waitress about it and she says, "all our jokes are so old, we just numbered 'em - all you gotta do is yell out the number and ever'body members it and laffs.

    He stops at the same diner the next week. Remembering how everybody laffed, he stood up and yelled, "38!" Nothing happened. When he asked the waitress about it, she patted his hand and sympathetically said, "Some people can tell em - and some people cain't."

    That's why this post is called 38 - it is one of the first jokes I remember my dad telling me - and it will still get a snicker at family reunion if hollered at the appropriate time!

    It pretty much got a laff everytime somebody screamed it this weekend, too. Yes, buffoonery abounded.

    So . . . a friend of mine is going to school to become a massage therapist. I just got done getting massage nbr #2 from her. Awesome.

    I ask her how many more massages she has to give before she graduates next week. She says 2 more this weekend and then she's done. Stoked.

    I lay there experiencing heaven and suddenly the metaphorical needle scratches off the record of the zen-like relaxation music that is playing. HOLY SHIT!!! 2 more massages to go out of 40 total . . . I'm number fucking 38!!!!

    She asks why the hell the outburst of laughter and I explain . . .
