I thought you were dead...
Rumors of the disbanding of the Concretins are to be expected, but they are grossly exaggerated.
Life is... what happens while you're busy making other plans. I've had ambitions, some practical, some complete illusions of grandeur. But it happens. You look up, and suddenly a few hours have gone by... a few days... weeks... months... Freaks me out sometimes, but I can't seem to stop it from happening. I'm gettin' pretty good at just sayin' oh well, but that doesn't help get anything done now does it. So sometimes, when the list of things I should really do other than go skate gets a bit overwhelming, I do what any rational adult skater dude would do... I go skate! Because I can.
Great things about being an "old" skater:
You gotta job and some disposable income, so you get the gear you want when you want. You gotta car, so you can go skate where you want when you want with whomever you want.
Shitty things about being an "old" skater:
You gotta job, and a mortgage, yard work and house chores, maybe a wife, maybe some kids, so your money for gear is limited. You gotta job, and a mortgage, yard work and house chores, maybe a wife, maybe some kids, so your time to skate is limited. Same goes for those you wanna skate with.
Well, here's to a few guys sayin' fk all to that, and havin' a session. Well, at least until we all had to get home before our wives got pissed.
Junior Stylin' the Frontside Rock - You know how everyone talks about the back toe pivot... Note Junior's FRONT toe!
Look how calm this bastard looks.
F.R.O. Travis
FROGWING SIGHTING!
Funky Hangup Drop-in thingy
Seth Slide - He and Junior put on a slide clinic. (even if they were using rails)
Alley Oop - the perspective is weird on this pic... the ramp wall looks small... my board is still probably a foot away from the wall...
And my ole' standby... super leanin'-in rock-n-roll - I like this pic because I'm still looking at the coping.
We're not dead yet. But it ain't for a lack of tryin'.

Yes, it was nice having some of the gang show up. It's been awhile since the barn has been used.
Good to see Jeff again...love the out of towners!
